MSA 3S Basic Plus Full Face Mask
 
The 3S Basic Plus full face mask from MSA is part of a the 3S mask series.
This particular mask is a low cost, basic model and has a faceblank made from a natural rubber formulation and an acrylic (PMMA) lens which is scratch-resistant and almost unbreakable. 
A good field of vision is amongst one of benefits of this full facemask from MSA.  The visor is fitted with a white lens frame, which can easily be replaced. 
For respiratory protection, the white coloured adapter has a round-thread connection to EN 148-1.  This also has an integrated exhalation valve which is also used for voice communication and is located in front of the mouth to transmit the voice effectively and intelligibly. 
Another feature of the MSA 3S Basic Plus is the 5-point harness which supports quick donning and doffing without having to adjust beforehand.  A neck strap can easily be retrofitted to the mask which allows it to be carried on the chest.
Easy to maintain, the components of the 3S Basic Plus must be replaced in regular intervals, such as valve discs which are easily accessible.
This full facemask can be used in industries including hazmat and contamination abatement and any other trade which requires the use of respiratory protection.
The 3S Basic Plus uses screw-in, respiratory protective filters with a standard EN 148-1 thread.  It can also be used with assisted and non-assisted fresh air breathing apparatus, air-line systems and Powered-Air-Purifying-Respirators.

Please note this mask is not approved for use by fire departments or as a face piece in combination with compressed-air breathing apparatus (certified to EN 136, Class 2).
